ENTRIES: The discounted fee for R&T Ride entries must be received by March 27th. Entry fees received after March 27th will be accepted at the regular fees. A current coggins must be included with entry form and release. Entries may be mailed or emailed to secretary and will be acknowledged as accepted if all information is complete and payment by check or online confirmation from PayPal is included. Cancellations: Prepaid entries are refundable in full less a $10 office fee with written notification to secretary by March 27th. Prepaid entries less $25 will be refunded with written certification from vet or doctor submitted to secretary prior pre-ride check-in on April 6th.

Ride Camp: Base camp is located in a field off Gallaher Road. Portajohns and water tank are provided. There are no campfires permitted. There is no charge for camping at Base Camp (for up to three days). Alternate permanent stabling one mile from base camp (no round pens) and campsite hook ups may be available through the Fair Hill NRMA office 410-398-1246. (other park users fill up these spaces quickly).

Trails/Grounds: This ride is held on state property and is open to the public. You may see hikers, riders, bikers, joggers, dog walkers, carriages, etc. Please be courteous to other park users and leave the campground as you found it. Terrain is rolling hills, gravel/dirt roads (most not open to cars), and numerous water crossings. Trail is well marked with signs, ribbons, and ground flags. Radio spotters will be on course reporting rider locations as they pass radio check points. Spotters and other volunteers are not responsible for knowing the course. Note: The FH NRMA Rangers can close the course if severe weather/safety conditions warrant.

Ride Packets: Riders with Express Entry status may pick up ride cards/packets by 10 a.m. Friday morning. Riders are asked to go to website to download and print ride information including maps, schedules, briefing notes. Copies will be posted at the ride tent. Maps will not be included in packet.

Vet: Pre-ride vet inspection will be at the base camp on Friday, April 6th. There is no scheduled pre-ride inspection on Saturday. All vet checks will be at the base camp. Crews will have access to riders at designated locations on course.

Medical: Ride management strongly encourages all riders to either wear a web-assisted Road ID type bracelet or a medical card in an armband at all times on the trail. This will assist medical personnel in case of emergency.

Food: Riders may purchase dinners served after the briefing. Dinners must be purchased with entry @$16 per person. Limited extra dinner tickets may be available for purchase on site. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be available Saturday morning. Complimentary hot dogs and chips available from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. or until gone. Maps of local food shops, tack, feed stores and other amenities available online.

Directions: From North: I-95 or NJ Turnpike South over the Delaware Memorial Bridge, take exit 109A (Route 279 Elkton) to Route 213, right onto Route 213 North to right onto Big Elk Chapel Road. About 1 mile to Base Camp on left. From South: I-95 to Exit 100. Left off ramp on Route 272 North, 5 miles to Route 273 East 6 miles. Go through Routes 213 / 273 intersection at Fair Hill Inn about 1 mile to Gallaher Road on right. Turn right. Go about 1 mile to Base Camp on right.
